Lara graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.

Over the years as an Occupational Therapist, Lara has gained and developed experience while working in the area of paediatric therapy and with young people with a range of diagnosis and abilities.

Lara is enthusiastic and passionate about working collaboratively with her clients and their families with the aim of achieving clients’ individual goals which includes supporting clients with continuing to build their independence and thus improve their quality of life ongoing. Although Lara’s client group have been within the Paediatric therapy space and with young people, she is keen to work one to one with adults.

Outside of work, Lara enjoys spending time with family, reading and enjoy a cup of coffee occasionally. Although Lara speaks English and Yoruba, she has a fascination with languages and is keen to learn other languages. In reflection of this, Lara has a strong appreciation for cultural diversity and inclusivity in her practice.
