JJ graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University and is now studying a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. He has been working in the occupational rehabilitation sector over the years, with extensive experience in injury management and functional analysis. He also has experience in paediatrics, hospitals and NDIS throughout his professional clinical placements.

With his collective experience in a variety of job roles with children and adults, he has developed skills in clinical reasoning and communication across the life span!

He recognises that people are unique, with different needs, interests and presentations. Therefore, he approaches sessions with a person centred mindset, developing a partnership with participants and working with them as experts in their own situations, working together towards their goals!

During his time away from work, JJ is passionate about fitness, playing basketball and enjoys watching an array of sports including rugby and Formula 1. He also plays the piano and the guitar. JJ is fluent in Tagalog (Filipino) and is currently trying to learn Japanese!
